Restaurant an der Volme in Hagen

We had ordered food for Boxing Day. The telephone contact to take the order was very friendly and uncomplicated. The pick-up of food went wonderfully, there was a short waiting time, but it was announced in advance, as the food was freshly prepared in a timely manner. The dishes themselves were excellent, the rump steak for my mother was on point, our roast was also extremely tender. The packaging for transport was clearly labeled. We would order there again at any time, and hope to be able to visit the restaurant under "normal" conditions. Thank you for an excellent Christmas dinner.

Had goose and pork tenderloin at Christmas, had to wait a bit as everyone wanted to pick up food at 1 p.m. The food itself was very tasty, tender goose, really good dumplings. One star deduction because one dish did not have the agreed boiled potatoes instead of dumplings. Food was warm enough, tasty and enough. Gladly again!

Ordered and picked up food yesterday. That was a disaster. Potato soup with salmon was without salmon. Roast beef with fried potatoes, roast beef was ok, but the fried potatoes were partially charred. Then I wanted a half duck but that was out then I took roast goose next disaster the leg of goose was very dried out The piece of goose breast that came with it was just as dry. As if they had been lying around somewhere for a few days - really terrible. I am totally disappointed ?

We were there on Sunday lunchtimes without a table reservation. Service friendly and the food was tasty.

The staff worked straightforward, clean and friendly. The restaurant is always nice and we had a great afternoon. The seating is extremely comfortable and the distance between the tables is very decent. There you don't get the feeling of dining like sardines in a can. Mother and I were too together and each of us ordered something different. For my part, I can say that I tried everything and it was immediate .

Very nice atmosphere and despite Covid-19 restrictions a great experience. The young temporary waitress who works there has always put a smile on my lips and was always polite and courteous. Gladly again

Ambience very nice, the food was good, but also had its price. We would have stayed longer, but no one wanted to bring us anything to drink. We would have liked to have had something else. In general, you got the impression that we weren't fine enough. We will therefore no longer visit this restaurant.

Nice well-kept ambience, very tasty high quality food, something for every taste! Attentive, very friendly service, the boss always has everything in view. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food! For my taste one of the top addresses in Hagen. I was there on Saturday evening, unfortunately only very moderately visited, which I cannot understand. Even the cost of the externally managed parking lot directly at the house is covered for one hour. I was very pleased!

Once again , we spent a nice evening there on Silverster evening. The kitchen has topped itself again. The food was awesome. If we already had a great menu on the first day of Christmas, yesterday we were pampered with a 5 course menu due to the turn of the year.

We were with our small wedding party (17 people) eat there. Already at the preparation you were friendly. The food itself, without exception, impressed us and our guests with the quality and the taste. The service was very dedicated and courteous, so we did not miss anything. We can recommend the restaurant on the Volme without restrictions.

Solid ambience. attentive service. reasonable menu, not too much and not too little choice of dishes. A "Greetings from the kitchen" is a great idea, which was also very nice delivered. The main course was very tasty, the plate was not overcrowded.

As so often our visit was very nice and worth every euro. Coming soon: great food, great atmosphere and really nice service However, I've also read other reviews and have to say: It takes a while to get "warm" with the wait staff.

The restaurant on the Volme is a "small" restaurant of the "upper" class, which you can taste, I hope that the restaurant will hold up. You should expect a few euros more to be invested, but it's worth it !!! Bottom line 1A ?
